Question regarding dyes
I'm just wondering how to get a "blood red" combination through dyes, if at all possible. And if not, what would be the closest to blood red, or just the most red combination?
Thanks in advance. Edit: I'm dyeing my sin's armors*Ancient, Elite Canthan, Elite Kurzick, and Asuran*, they all seem to dye the same as I've noticed, been using Reds and Oranges in experiments, I think I'd need a black dye or 2 but don't want to waist the money on pure guesses. So if some1 knows if Black will help get a better red then red alone, plz say so, and thanks. Last edited by Konig Des Todes; May 16, 2008 at 02:24 AM // 02:24.. |

Yeah, like dried blood. That would look cool, but it looks as if it will most certainly involve a black, and that's kind of costly (at my level of play and budget) to risk and not get what you want.
Maybe someone else has it on a piece of gear that you can look at. Have you seen anyone with anything close? Ask them in-game! People are generally helpful and friendly there. I got a girl to show me the different emotes just by walking up and asking her. |

2 Reds & Orange & brown?
Just guessing, although I think I'll try that on my Necro later, I'll let you know if it's 'Blood Red' or 'Beef & Tomato Pot Noodle' |

If you want your red darker add black, if you want it redder maybe try multiple reds and a bright colour like yellow or orange.

Wiki says 2 blacks, 1 red, 1 orange, so I tried that, doesn't look that blood red to me, so I tried 2 blacks 2 reds, then 1 black 3 reds. Here are what I got, nether looks blood red to me, but then again there is a chance I am color blind, so can people tell me if either of these 2 color combinations look blood red to them?

Not blood red, more like shades of pink. I'm not sure if blood red is still achievable, personally.
Most colours seem to be rather washed out compared to the older ones. |

Seems that the problem is that my sin's armor gets poor color combination. I tried combinations on my necro, derv, and para, and I got the combinations I wanted or better. Why must my favorite profession get the worst dye combination colors >.<
